This katsina doll is carved by Fannon Mowa from Polacca.

He is 7 1/2 inches to the top of his head and 10 1/2 inches overall.

Fannon did an excellent job in taking the time to hand tie the feathers.

Honankatsina is a Badger Katsina, and appears during Angk’wa or the summer katsina day dances. He provides the herbal medicine and represents the medicinal culture, and also serves as a messenger for rain.
