Hahay’iwuuti is a katsina Mother who has several ceremonial functions. She responds to different situations or ceremonial events, such as Hopi Salako, Powamuya, and Angk’wa, as either a leader or a guide. She is a very energetic, sprightful, talkative being. She always carries her ceremonial water jug, the kuy’wiki (water that has been blessed).
